Shining a light on local businesses.
H & H Cafe & Bakery
Since we can’t share the sweet scent of baked goods online, this photo will have to do. Today’s Small Business Spotlight shines on H & H Cafe & Bakery Inc. Founded by the Hagan family in 1976, the bakery has been a family business for over four decades. The current generation—Robbie, Pam, and Cindy—love sharing baked goods and BBQ with all their friends and neighbors throughout Yoakum 6 days a week, starting at six a.m.

A proud Yoakum native, Alexa Fikac opened her dream clothing and accessories boutique in 2015. She has always loved fashion and interacting with people, so she decided to combine the two.
If you’re looking for a perfect gift (or a little something for yourself), then stop by Bleu on Lott Street Tuesday through Saturday.
Yoakum General Store
Jeff and Jackie Boswell and Brant and Anna Jacobs opened the doors of Yoakum General Store on September 11, 2017, and love seeing all the familiar Yoakum faces.
Whether you’re looking for hardware, plumbing, and electrical or boutique clothing and home décor, they have you covered.
Embroidery Express
Today, we shine the Small Business Spotlight on Embroidery Express. Founded in 2005 by Yoakum-native Dianna Hanzelka, this shop specializes in embroidery, screen printing, promotional products, gifts, and apparel. When she’s not going to her kids’ extracurricular activities, you can find Dianna at the shop greeting all her happy customers.
